Your next opportunity:
We are looking for a driven, ambitious professionals with a passion for taxation who want challenging, varied work and the opportunity to specialise.
You will be joining a high performing team of accounting and legal professionals, with a focus on corporate and international tax matters. You will also consult and collaborate with other William Buck teams to deliver holistic, commercially focussed tax advice

What your day might look like:
You’ll spend your day tackling complex tax advisory work undertaking detailed research, and preparing structure papers, opinions, advices, ruling applications, objections, voluntary disclosures and presentations. There is also some complex tax compliance work, including tax effect accounting, tax compliance and CBC compliance.

You will be involved in a wide range of Australian and international tax matters, including:
- Significant Global Entities and Country-by-Country Reporting Entities
- Tax structuring for inbound and outbound investments
- Australian local file preparation and reporting
- Transfer pricing
- Thin capitalisation rules and debt deduction creation rules
- Tax consolidation and Multiple-Entry consolidation
- Domestic and international tax advisory, including application of tax treaties
- ATO reviews
- Hybrid Mismatch rules
- Pillar 2 compliance
- Heavily focused on tax advisory and consulting projects
- Exposure to a broad range of issues, industries and technical issues

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 5 years Australian experience and be qualified as a Chartered Accountant or admitted as a Solicitor.
