Supervisor / Workshop Controller (Mf)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Supervisor to join our Service Team. You will be part of our highly customer centric team, attending the needs and requirements of our clientele to achieve high levels of customer happiness. Being in a dynamic environment, you are expected to adapt, pick up and apply new skills and knowledge which will be necessary to your success in this role. Responsibilities:

• You will be handling the distribution and control on the issue of job cards to the workshop to maximise quality and overall efficiency
• Monitor the progress of repair and service jobs by following up directly with workshop team
• You are required to work closely with customer service team in timely update of the job status to facilitate their communication with customers
• Ensure that repair order estimates for additional repairs are forwarded in a timely manner to Service Advisors to gain approval for the repairs
• Cooperate with technical team in monitoring the workflow and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency
• Coordinate with QC Testers to perform final checks on vehicles before release to customers
• Your job requires timely update in the Kerridge system on the status of the issued and completed jobs
• To ensure the accurate completion of all relevant documentation for each repair and the preparation of the required documents
• Convert warranty labour line as and when necessary
• Handle workshop team overtime and attendance records
• You will also undertake additional related responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• A minimum qualification of Nitec / Higher Nitec in Automotive Technology or related
• Preferably possess relevant experience in Automotive repairs and workflow in a service workshop environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications & possess a valid Class 3 driving license
• Meticulous in numbers, with good interpersonal and communication skills
• A phenomenal teammate with excellent organisational ability, detail oriented and self-motivated to work under pressure
• If you can handle large team of operatives and ideally equipped with Kerridge system experience, that would be advantageous
