Sushi Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail
• Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar and kitchen area
• Manage ingredient inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
• Serve customers with professionalism, providing excellent food service experience
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
• Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality
• Assist in training junior staff or apprentices as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in sushi making, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
• Experience in serving customers and providing excellent food service
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation, and restaurant workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of the principles of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
• Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary excellence
