We are looking for a System Manager CAD & PDM to manage our systems for design and development of new products and product improvements.
The role
Develop and maintain CAD & PDM (Product Data Management) system internally and towards external vendors. You will be responsible for our current systems (Siemens NX and TC) and monitor, improve, and administrate to keep the systems relevant, effective and integrated where needed towards other Laerdal business systems.

- Upgrade and implementation of system and modules
- Best practice and training
- Monitor and benchmarking
- Vendor contact
- Support users and resources in relevant functions
Who we believe this role would fit
You are system and process oriented with extensive knowledge of CAD and PDM, structured and tidy. You have been working in a similar role and experienced for system implementation, administration and vendor/consultant collaboration. You are result-oriented, have excellent documentation and communication skills. You can make well informed decisions and assess consequences and choose solutions that drive progress and quality. You take ownership of your responsibilities and see tasks through to completion. You enjoy diving into new and unfamiliar problem areas and find smart, effective solutions. You are motivated by professional challenges and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor or master’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience within CAD and PDM systems, preferably Siemens NX/TC
