Takeaway Assistant/Takeaway Staff

Role and Responsibilities:

• Take customer orders with a friendly and professional attitude (in-person & over the phone).
• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including burgers, kebabs, pizzas, chips, and other takeaway favorites.
• Ensure all food is prepared to high-quality standards, maintaining consistency and presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.
• Pack and serve orders efficiently and accurately.
• Manage stock intake, storage, and inventory checks to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Assist with stock management, including organizing and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and takeaway area, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including equipment cleaning, floor mopping, and waste disposal, to uphold cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

• Experience cooking or handling takeaway items such as burgers, pizzas, or chips is a plus but not required – full training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen eye for detail, especially regarding stock management and cleanliness.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• A passion for food, teamwork, and providing excellent service.
