Position: Tax Intern

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Tax Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Intern at MSL, you will play a crucial role in leading and executing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and assess tax issues, providing valuable insights to our Seniors and Managers.
• Prepare, or assist in preparing, Federal or State tax returns for individuals or other entities.
• Complete, or assist in the accumulation of, essential information for various extensions for Federal and State entities.
• Support the collection of information and organization of workpapers necessary for all tax-related activities.
• Utilize CCH Axcess tax software.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as an accounting major at a regionally accredited college or university as a junior or senior who has:
• Completed Intermediate Accounting
• Preferred overall GPA of 3.2/4.0
• Preferred Accounting GPA of 3.3/4.0
