Part-Time Teacher – Prep Readiness for Neurodivergent Children
Locations: Banyo & Spring Hill Playhouses
Hours: 8–16 hours per week

About Neurodiverse Playhouse:
At Neurodiverse Playhouse, we support children with diverse learning needs to build the skills and confidence they need for mainstream prep. Our play-based programs are delivered in a nurturing environment, and our multidisciplinary team – including occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and teachers – work together to create personalised learning experiences.

The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and creative teacher to join our team. In this part-time role, you will:

• Support neurodivergent children in developing social, emotional, and academic readiness for prep.
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and other team members to deliver tailored learning experiences.
• Plan and implement small-group and individual learning activities that are engaging, inclusive, and evidence-based.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to families.

About You:

• Qualified teacher with current registration (early childhood, primary).

• Experience supporting neurodivergent children or children with additional learning needs.
• Knowledge of inclusive, play-based, and evidence-based teaching approaches.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible, patient, and able to adapt to individual learning styles.
