Project description
We are seeking a team manager to head part of our team of Automotive engineers located in Gothenburg, Sweden. This role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, business development, and operational delivery.
The successful candidate will drive growth by managing and expanding our engineering engagements with existing customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the entire project lifecycle and drive the stffing projects successfully.
In addition, the role includes local team leadership and close collaboration with global delivery units and corporate functions to maximize efficiency and business impact.

Must have
Project Management
Proven experience in end‑to‑end project management, including planning, estimation, tracking, and reporting of complex technical projects. Solid experience in risk and issue management.
Acts as an escalation point, driving timely decisions and resolving delivery or stakeholder issues.
Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and suppliers, serving as a single operational point of contact.
Demonstrated skills in resource planning and utilization to ensure efficient and sustainable delivery
Automotive Engineering Expertise
Technical foundation in automotive R&D, including familiarity with core domains such as embedded systems, ADAS, E/E architecture, infotainment, or vehicle software platforms. The candidate should understand engineering processes, product development life cycles, and software/hardware integration. This expertise will be essential in ensuring technical credibility during customer interactions and in evaluating delivery feasibility and solution design.
Business Development
A commercially-minded leader who can identify growth opportunities and drive the acquisition of new business. This includes the ability to spot unmet needs or pain points, shape engineering offerings to fit, and lead or contribute significantly to RFQs, and proposal responses. Special focus to staffing bussiness development.
Line Management & Team Leadership
Direct experience leading and developing engineering teams. The role includes line management responsibilities such as hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, career development, and maintaining team engagement. The candidate should be skilled at building team culture, providing regular feedback, and ensuring alignment between individual goals and business objectives.
