Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide technical and application support, manage on-site installations, and conduct training sessions for our electrophysiological systems. This role involves regular travels and requires a deep understanding of Micro Electrode Array (MEA) technology, particularly with our MCS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and resolve customer support requests using our online support platform, along with video and phone support, to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct on-site installations and training sessions for our electrophysiological systems.
- Provide specialized support in MEA technology.
- Utilize additional expertise in patch clamp and isolated organ systems to support our diverse customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with technical support colleagues, as well as the sales, development, and production teams, making teamwork an essential requirement.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in MEA technology, particularly with MCS systems (PhD in a related life science field is preferred).
- Experience in technical and application support.
- Knowledge of patch clamp an d/or isolated organ systems would be desirable.
- Willingness to travel to visit customers (mainly Europe) on a regular basis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
