Job Summary

We are seeking a Technician Intern to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level individual with a keen interest in renewable energy to gain hands-on experience in the solar industry. The intern will work under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers, learning various aspects of solar energy technologies and system installation.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians in the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other solar energy equipment.
  • Learn and perform troubleshooting and maintenance on solar energy systems.
  • Help with site assessments and data collection to determine solar energy needs and system designs.
  • Participate in the testing and commissioning of newly installed systems to ensure they meet performance standards.
  • Support the team in wiring and connection of electrical components according to safety guidelines.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in the inspection and monitoring of solar installations to ensure proper functioning.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in the solar energy industry.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on improving processes and systems.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of SSCE certificate
  • Basic understanding of solar energy systems and electrical components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical tasks.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to renewable energy projects.
  • No prior work experience is required, but previous internship or training in a related field is a plus.

Remuneration: NGN
