About this role:

You will be part of the Group Internal Audit team, a select team of independent professionals who seek to deliver valuable, pragmatic risk insights and assurance to the business and the Audit Committee. Working under the management of the Director of Technology Internal Audit, and with the support and oversight of our Technology Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for executing internal audit projects. Your role primarily focuses on IT/Technology audits but can also extend into integrated operational, commercial, project management, and compliance areas, offering broad exposure and valuable opportunities for experience and personal growth.

This is a global coverage role, so the opportunity exists to periodically visit international markets too. These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Support the planning and execution of IT audits in line with generally accepted auditing standards and the internal audit methodology. This includes contributing to audit scoping, performing risk assessments, executing control testing, and documenting findings;
• Develop and maintain IT audit programs and testing procedures aligned with JET’s Internal Audit methodology, ensuring coverage of relevant risks, controls, and regulatory requirements as applicable;
• Prepare audit reports that articulate the issue and supporting facts, associated risks, and agreed action plan with the business, for review by the Technology Audit Manager and Director of Technology Internal Audit;
• Support the management of audit timelines and stakeholder engagement by managing assigned timelines and coordinating with your manager and stakeholders to ensure audits are delivered on time and to a high standard;
• Perform follow-up activities on prior audit findings to assess the status of remediation efforts and update the audit findings management system accordingly.

What will you bring to the table?

• Relevant experience: Gained hands-on experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, or a similar Internal Audit role. This should include active participation in planning and executing IT audit procedures, accurately documenting findings, and contributing to assurance activities that help identify areas for strengthening control environments;
• Exposure to key IT/Technology processes: Familiarity and some practical experience in several IT/technology areas. These may include cybersecurity, DevSecOps principles, product development, Cloud platform infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP), general Enterprise IT operations, application controls, change management processes, identity and access management, data security, and IT resilience/disaster recovery.
• Exposure to common technology frameworks (like COBIT, NIST, ISO) is a plus;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly with technical and non-technical individuals. This includes being able to support or conduct interviews to gather information and assist in presenting audit findings in a clear, structured manner;
• Organised approach and task execution: Demonstrates an organised and structured way of working, with an ability to manage assigned tasks effectively and contribute to the timely completion of audit projects under supervision;
• Professional development (Desirable): Actively working towards or holding a part-qualified or full certification (e.g., CISA, CIA, or equivalent) is considered desirable.
