Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle.
Duties
- Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Safely and effectively operating Dump truck and trailer to deliver equipment to site
· Deliver material to site from gravel pits, transport excavated material from site to dump site
· Reporting and communicating effectively with dispatchers, foremen and supervisors
· Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
· Ensuring float equipment is on time and at the correct location allowing for traffic, weather, etc.
· Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment
· Following all applicable federal (i.e., Transport Canada), provincial (i.e., MTO) and local/jurisdictional legislation including but not limited to logbooks, weight restrictions, cargo securement and Highway Traffic Act regulations
· Additional duties as required
Qualified candidates will possess:
· A valid DZ driver’s license
· A current (within 30 days) Commercial Vehicle Operators Record (CVOR)
· The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
· A safety conscious attitude
· The ability to drive safely in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
· In-depth knowledge of all CVOR requirements such as logbooks, hours of service, cargo securement, trip inspections, pre-trip inspections, etc.
This position is a full-time seasonal position, although full-time year-round work may be available.

The position is based out of Brantford, Ontario, but our working radius will be within 1-hour drive of Brantford.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
