Truck Driver - Class 1

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 1 Commercial Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and open deck work.

Duties

• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Secure freight on open decks.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving routes, and deliveries in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving
• Experience with heavy equipment operation
• Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 47.5 per week
