The Role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to operate our new MAN TGM flatbed truck for deliveries and collections between our workshop, suppliers, and client sites. This is a full-time, permanent position based from our factory in Newcastle, Co. Dublin. You’ll be responsible for the safe transport of balcony components and materials, ensuring all deliveries are carried out efficiently, professionally, and in full compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the company flatbed truck for deliveries and collections primarily in Greater Dublin region
• Secure and inspect all loads to ensure road safety compliance
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate transport records
• Assist with loading and unloading when required
• Represent the company professionally on-site and with clients

Requirements

• Full, clean Class C licence
• Valid CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Minimum 3 years continuous HGV driving experience – must be proven by:
• A letter from previous employer(s) confirming continuous driving experience
• A letter from the previous employer’s insurance company confirming same (required for policy cover)
• Strong understanding of road safety and load securing
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Good communication and organisation skills

Desirable

• Experience delivering to construction sites
• Forklift Licence (training can be provided)
• Teleporter Licence (training can be provided)
• Basic mechanical knowledge
