Unarmed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, preventing theft, and responding to emergencies. The Security Officer will utilize various skills including surveillance techniques, conflict management, and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of the premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
