Underwriting Assistant

• Processing and assessing client’s background information.
• Writing quotations, determining, and computing coverage and premiums.
• Deciding to accept, modify, or reject an insurance application after thoroughly scrutinizing all of the required documents.
• Preparing policies inclusive of terms and conditions.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to use reasonable and sound judgment.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• With experience in Non-life Insurance or Life Insurance.
• Willing to be trained and able to multitask.
• With strong negotiation skills and great interpersonal and customer service skills necessary when meeting and interviewing clients.
• Ability to build a positive relationship with clients, colleagues, and other key role players.
