US Payroll Specialist ON-SITE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive US Payroll Specialist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, experience supporting multi-state payroll, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with PRISM payroll software is a plus, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple entities and/or locations (PRISM experience is a plus).
• Maintain, audit, and validate payroll records, including timekeeping, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and adjustments.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
• Reconcile payroll reports and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and generate payroll reports for management, finance teams, and external audits.
• Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
• Manage wage garnishments, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and sensitive payroll data.
• Stay up to date with payroll regulations, industry changes, and best practices.

Skills & Requirements

• 2–3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state U.S. environment.
• Experience with PRISM payroll software is a plus (basic navigation is sufficient).
• Solid knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll-related systems.
• Highly proactive, adaptable, and quick to learn.
