About the Role:
The Vendor Replenishment Planner (VRP) is a critical role within Diageo Australia’s Customer Supply Operations team, underpinning strong customer performance across our wholesale partners. Responsible for ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, this role plays a key part in achieving agreed service level metrics while balancing stock availability, working capital and commercial priorities. Acting as the lynchpin between Diageo and our wholesale customers, the VRP supports the day-to-day execution of supply chain operations in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage end‑to‑end replenishment through daily order placement to deliver customer service, stock on hand and net sales value targets
- Proactively analyse stock on hand, service levels and important metrics to identify risks, insights and actions to prevent out of stocks (OOS)
- Build and maintain strong internal and external collaborator relationships to deliver joint supply chain objectives and critical metrics
- Lead proactive communication across company departments and with external contacts on supply risks, delays, transport issues and operational impacts
- Support continuous improvement through reporting, system set‑ups for new SKU launches, collaborative forecasting and customer supply projects
Experience / Skills Required:
- Experience in an FMCG supply chain, replenishment, planning or analytics role
- Strong analytical capability with intermediate Excel skills and experience using systems such as SAP
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing operational environment
- Strong communication and collaborator management skills across commercial, supply and external partners
- Proactive approach with logical and critical thinking skills, remaining calm under pressure
