Join the team at Wasabi Sushi – a fast-growing sushi restaurant in Draper, Utah, committed to quality, teamwork, and great service.

Server

Help create an enjoyable dining experience as a sushi server. Candidates with sushi or Japanese restaurant experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, and assist with seating as needed
• Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about ingredients or dietary concerns
• Take orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and sushi chefs
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring correct orders and presentation
• Monitor tables and respond to guest needs throughout the meal
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
• Process payments using POS systems accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate closely with chefs, bussers, and other servers for smooth service flow
• Support opening and closing duties, including restocking and light cleaning

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 month + of serving experience (sushi/Japanese restaurant experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Food Handler’s Permit – Recommended
• Alcohol Server Permit (UT Alcohol Certification) – Recommended

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
