In our office in Zoetermeer, we have a vacancy for the position of: Warehouse Operator

As Warehouse Operator, you will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

The Warehouse Operator is part of the operations team and executes the flows of material, information and finished goods incoming and outcoming.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for:

Main duties:

• Executing the flows of products and parts on a daily basis and according to the one-time-right principle and company stock policies
• According to picking instructions, picking parts and sub assemblies and delivering to production
• Handling lithium batteries, classified as dangerous goods
• According to picking instructions, picking parts and sub assemblies and delivering to production.
• Maintaining and operating the physical warehouse tools with respect to safety, efficiency and effective operations
• Collecting finished goods from production department for storing in warehouse and/or preparing for delivery to customer
• Executing correct packaging of products according to company quality standards

Additional duties:

• Executing correct packaging of products according to company quality standards
• Effectively utilizing the ERP system
• Where necessary reporting stock deviations to financial and operational management
• Registering any product and/or process non-conformities
• Identifying process improvements to create efficiencies within the department
• Managing tasks and duties according to the applicable quality standards
• Reporting periodically to the supervisor as per agreed procedure
• Maintaining the operational and quality standards in the applicable company (ERP, quality and CRM systems

Who are you:

• Mid level Applied Education - MBO - level 3
• Affinity with warehouse processes
• 2-3 years of experience in a production/warehouse environment
• IATA - Dangerous goods certificate - Lithium Battery (Air/Road/Sea) - is an advantage - training can be offered company
• Good command of Dutch and English – both verbally & written
• Team player as well as able to work independently
