About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced Water Technician to join our team in Christchurch!

The purpose of this role is to install, repair and maintain water reticulation networks.

This may include:

• Installing new water main pipes and connections.
• Repair leaking watermains, meter connections and irrigation systems.
• Flushing and water quality issues with water mains.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Water Serviceperson position or the Water Industry.
• National Certificate in Water Reticulation, Level 4 or equivalent.
• Health & Safety focused.
• We need someone who is able and willing to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
• You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
• A full class 1 licence, class 2 is desirable and WTR or training towards.

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
