About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineering Leader to support our global sales organization with high‑quality technical and commercial solutions in water treatment. In this role, you will guide the development of solutions, lead the application design team, and ensure that even the most complex tender requests are handled with expertise and precision.

Your leadership will drive the creation of technical designs, layouts, process concepts, and configurations that showcase our capabilities and strengthen our competitive position.

As the central coordinator for developing solutions based on application needs, give tendering support, manage timelines, allocate tasks, assess technical contractual risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. You will also provide insights into market trends and competitors, helping to shape winning strategies.

Leading a team of application and tendering engineers supporting sales companies, you will foster a collaborative and performance‑driven environment. Your work will be measured by submission quality, lead times, compliance levels, and the value and profitability of secured contracts.

This role requires process expertise e.g., an academic degree in Chemical- or Environmental Engineering with expertise in water treatment. It is a merit if you have contractual experience and have worked in international environment.

This role is located at the Center of Excellence at Nordic Water in Mölndal, Gothenburg.
