The Opportunity

Within our client's ecosystem, Wealth Planning is recognized as a primary engine for client services and relationship depth, not an administrative afterthought.

We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Wealth Planner to act as a core strategic partner to the Front Office Relationship Managers across the APAC region. In this role, you will step out of the back office and directly into being the architect of structures that protect, optimize, and transition the multi-generational wealth of UHNW clients, entrepreneurs, and Family Offices.

Responsibilities

Front-Office Deal Architecture & Client Services
  • Partner closely with APAC Relationship Managers (RMs) to drive business development and new client acquisition through strategic joint client calls.
  • Guide RMs and clients through the technical hurdles of onboarding complex corporate, offshore, and multi-jurisdictional wealth structures.
  • Work directly with UHNW clients and their external legal/tax advisers to design bespoke strategies for cross-border succession, family governance, family office frameworks, international relocations, and asset restructuring.
  • Manage referrals and inquiries by seamlessly collaborating with trusted external legal advisers, accounting specialists, and international insurance brokers.

Relationship Deepening & Client Engagement
  • Design, orchestrate, and speak at exclusive wealth planning gatherings, roundtables, and events engineered to deepen wallet share with existing families.
  • Actively support APAC RMs on complex client enquiries regarding the strategic deployment of insurance wrappers and liquidity-bridging structures to meet legacy needs.

Internal Thought Leadership & Strategic Initiatives
  • Develop and arrange for top-tier external speakers to deliver technical masterclasses to RMs and key internal stakeholders on changing global regulatory and tax landscapes.
  • Keep the Front Office sharp by producing timely trend reports, platform Portal updates, and immediate email alerts regarding regulatory shifts impacting private clients.
  • Actively champion and support major cross-functional business initiatives where Wealth Planning APAC intersects with institutional growth.

Requirements

  • A strong technical foundation in international trust law, cross-border tax, or private client corporate structures. Holding a Law Degree (LLB/JD), CPA/Tax qualification, or full TEP (STEP) certification is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience operating within a top-tier Private Bank's Wealth Planning division, an international law firm (Private Client group), or a premium independent trustee/fiduciary firm.
  • Exceptional EQ and commercial polish. You must be comfortable navigating sensitive family dynamics, speaking the language of billionaire patriarchs, and positioning structural concepts as key drivers for investment asset retention.
  • Native or professional working fluency in English is mandatory. Strong regional language capabilities (such as Mandarin or Cantonese) are highly advantageous given our target demographic across North and South Asia.
