Web Developer Intern

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated MERN Stack / Next.js Developer Intern to join our core development team at IHSUK TECH. You will be working on FIXSPIRE, our fast-growing SaaS platform designed for service businesses across India.

This is not a basic internship — you will work on a live production SaaS product, contribute to scalable architecture, and collaborate directly with our UI/UX and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features for FIXSPIRE (SaaS product) using MERN Stack and Next.js
• Build scalable frontend components using React / Next.js
• Develop and optimize backend APIs using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
• Integrate third-party services (payments, WhatsApp APIs, authentication, etc.)
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to convert Figma designs into production-ready interfaces
• Maintain clean, modular, and reusable code
• Debug, optimize performance, and fix production-level issues
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with:
• React.js
• Next.js
• Node.js
• Express.js
• MongoDB
• Understanding of REST APIs and API integration
• Experience with Git & GitHub
• Basic understanding of authentication (JWT, role-based access)
• Knowledge of responsive design and modern UI practices
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work in a structured development workflow

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

• Experience deploying applications (Vercel, Render, AWS, etc.)
• Knowledge of SaaS architecture or multi-tenant systems
• Familiarity with payment gateway integrations (Razorpay/Stripe)
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / related field
• Available to work 30–36 hours per week
• Must be comfortable working on real production-level code
• A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing MERN projects is highly preferred
