Your expertise in food and beverage management, staff training, and hospitality will drive the success of our wine bar and elevate our guests’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the wine bar, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of quality.
  • Curate and maintain an extensive wine list, staying current with industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to food safety and alcohol regulations.
  • Oversee food preparation related to wine pairings and light culinary offerings, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management.
  • Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, reconcile daily sales reports, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and product knowledge.
  • Supervise shift management activities including scheduling, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes team collaboration and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of wine varieties, food pairing techniques, and beverage service standards.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
  • Background in food preparation, culinary techniques, or kitchen management; fine dining or casual dining experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hospitality management.
  • Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while minimizing waste.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning within the food industry.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
