Workday Hcm Functional Lead
Location: Hybrid in Zurich Area
Salary: Around CHF 140,000 (negotiable) + Bonus

We’ve partnered with a leading organisation and new Workday Customer in the Zurich area, and we’re looking for an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead to join their upcoming implementation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand new end-to-end implementation, impacting a large HR community across over 20 countries globally!

This is a permanent role, hybrid in the Zurich area and offering a base salary in the region of CHF 140,000 (negotiable) plus bonus and benefits.

As a Workday HCM Functional Lead, you will play a key role in the successful deployment of Workday across the organisation, as part of a team of Functional Leads, reporting into the Head of HRIS.

You will closely work with the HR Leadership Team, collecting their requirements and translating business processes into Workday solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from their legacy HR technology. You will be the main point of contact for any Workday Core HCM topics, connecting the HR function with the technology team and external consultants. You will be in charge of system configuration, testing, user training and security, continuing to provide support once the system goes live in late 2025.

Workday HCM Functional Lead – Zurich Area – Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on technical skills in Workday Core HCM, including configuration of Business Processes, Security and Reports
  • Ideally, experience of at least one end-to-end Workday implementation project in a Functional Lead capacity
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead workshops, collect business requirements, optimise HR processes and design Workday solutions
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English. Knowledge of German is considered a plus
  • Previous experience of working in a multi-cultural and global environment
  • Eligibility to live and work in Switzerland without Visa restrictions
  • Availability to visit the office on a weekly basis
