Yard Manager & Hgv Driver

Brackley Landscapes is a leading specialist in the design and build of high-end outdoor spaces, delivering bespoke landscaping and groundworks projects for private residences, hotels, public works and commercial properties in Cavan and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking an experienced person for a hands-on diverse role combining elements of Yard management and HGV driver duties. If you are experienced in these types of activities and looking for a diverse role, then this job is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload yard deliveries safely using appropriate plant & equipment and assist with moving, placing, and organising materials in the yard and on-site.
• Maintain a clean and orderly yard ensuring good housekeeping, segregation and safe storage of materials and plant & equipment.
• Record keeping of stock In & Out of yard
• Safely operate company lorries to transport plant and materials to and from sites, ensuring all loads are secure and vehicle checks are completed daily.
• Provide occasional support to site teams with general groundworks and landscaping tasks when required.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Valid HGV licence (Category C) preferably with up-to-date CPC and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience driving lorries (ideally tipper, grab, or plant transport vehicles).
• Ability to load, secure, and deliver materials safely using appropriate restraints and techniques.
• A strong focus on safety especially when loading, transporting and arrangement of machinery and stock in the yard.
• Some hands-on experience in general landscaping or groundworks.
• Safe Pass preferable but can be arranged for the right candidate
