3rd Year Plumber Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction, and maintenance, providing a solid foundation for a career in the trades. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for professional growth. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in building technical expertise in plumbing and related fields.

Duties

  • Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during various tasks
  • Perform basic carpentry work related to plumbing installations and repairs
  • Support with the assembly of piping systems and fixtures according to specifications
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Participate in training sessions on HVAC systems, schematics reading, and maintenance procedures to expand technical skills

Experience

  • No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC systems, or construction is a plus
  • Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and schematics is advantageous
  • Prior exposure to welding or assembly work is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Strong math skills for measurements and calculations needed during installations and repairs
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions under supervision
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
