Accounts Assistant

Purpose of Role

The Accounts Assistant will be part of the Finance team, report to the Chief Finanical Officer and will be responsible for accounting tasks as assigned by the Senior Management. This role will ideally suit someone who is very efficient with their time and has demonstrated attention to detail when carrying out their duties

Responsibilities:

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing work of a high standard
• Preparation and submission of journals to accounting system
• Preparation of month-end reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting internal & external reports
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Relevant Accounting/Finance third level qualification
• Enthusiastic and hard-working graduates with good communication skills looking to pursue a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or similar) or Trainee Accountant within practice looking to move into an industry role
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing work of a high standard

• Minimum 1 year experience in an accounting environment
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
