Area Sales Manager - North

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by analyzing market trends and performance data.
Manage and expand distribution networks, including identifying new markets and ensuring efficient product availability.
Oversee distributor selection, performance, and relationships, ensuring smooth operations, stock compliance, and timely financial settlements.
Lead and manage Sales Representatives (SRs), including recruitment, performance monitoring, training, and retention.
Monitor sales performance, track gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve overall area performance.
Analyze market competition and promotional activities to recommend strategies and improve sales effectiveness.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

Candidates must be based in North Area (Prefarably from Jaffna).
Should possess a valid driving license.
Completion of GCE A/L and a Diploma in marketing/sales would be an advantage.
Proficiency in both oral and written communication in Tamil / Sinhala and English
More than 03 years experience at a similar level preferably in the FMCG industry.
Familiar with Sales Force Automation (SFA) system and Experience in MS Office packages.
