Armed Security Officer- 3rd Shift Part Time

Statewide Security is seeking responsible, energetic, and self-motivated professionals to join our team as an Armed Security Officer in the Westland area.

Position Requirements

Applicants must:

- Possess a valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL)

- Own a registered sidearm and appropriate duty gear

- Have a minimum of two (2) years of armed security experience

- Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills

- Be dependable, professional, and self-motivated

- Be in good physical condition and capable of performing security duties

- Have reliable transportation and a good driving record

- Have access to a cell phone and internet service

- Be able to work independently with limited supervision

- Be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius when necessary (paid travel time or fuel reimbursement available for qualifying assignments)

*MUST BE ABLE TO STAY AWAKE AND ALERT DURING DURATION OF SHIFT*

Availability Requirements

Candidates must have flexible scheduling and be available to work:

- Day, afternoon, and overnight shifts

- Weekends and holidays

- On-call assignments as needed

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

- Monitoring assigned properties and facilities

- Conducting security patrols and inspections

- Interacting professionally with staff, customers, visitors, and clients

- Enforcing site rules, regulations, and security protocols

- Responding to incidents and documenting activities

- Completing reports, logs, and assigned documentation accurately and on time

- Following company policies and client-specific procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
