Location: Multiple sites across Orange County (Irvine, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Tustin, Orange, Westminster, La Habra, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Brea & surrounding areas)

About the Role

Sportznmore is looking for energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic Assistant Sports Coaches who love working with young children! In this role, you’ll support the lead coach in delivering fun, play-based sports classes for kids ages 2–10.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Lead Coach in running engaging sports and fitness classes
• Help redirect and guide children during activities
• Support drills, games, and skill-building exercises
• Ensure child safety at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
• Help set up and break down equipment
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement to every class

Schedule

• Part-time, year-round
• Weekday availability required
• Typical shifts:
• Morning: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
• Opportunity for additional hours over time

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (ages 2–10 preferred)
• Background in childcare, coaching, camps, or teaching is a plus
• Positive, patient, and high-energy personality
• Ability to keep kids engaged and on task
• Reliable transportation (travel between locations required)
• Team-oriented and dependable

Physical Requirements

• Ability to run, jump, and actively participate in classes
• Carry light equipment (15–20 lbs)

Pay

$20–$25 per hour depending on experience
