Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The ideal candidate will support bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, while also providing excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth operation during busy shifts in nightclubs, bars, or banquet settings.

Duties

• Assist bartenders with the preparation of drinks and cocktails by gathering ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish bar supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Handle bussing duties by clearing empty glasses and plates from tables.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during events or busy nights.
• Operate POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) for processing orders efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
• Assist with cash handling duties as required, ensuring accuracy in transactions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
• Familiarity with cleaning protocols and kitchen experience is advantageous.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
