Who Are You
You are a detail-driven healthcare professional who understands the importance of accurate benefits verification and timely authorizations in supporting both patient care and practice revenue. You are organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with insurance carriers, providers, and internal teams. You take pride in being a reliable liaison who helps ensure care is delivered without unnecessary administrative delays.

What You Will Do

  • Verify patient insurance benefits, eligibility, and coverage details
  • Obtain prior authorizations for medical services, procedures, and supplies
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve benefits and authorization issues
  • Track and follow up on authorization requests to ensure timely approvals
  • Communicate authorization requirements and updates to clinical and billing teams
  • Assist with audits, denials, and appeals related to benefits and authorizations
  • Ensure documentation meets payer guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in EHR and billing systems
  • Support billing teams with benefits- and authorization-related inquiries

What You Bring

  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization processes
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Healthcare administration, medical billing, or revenue cycle experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
