The Role

As a BIM Coordinator, you will lead the coordination process, ensure model accuracy, and bridge the gap between digital design and field installation. You will collaborate with superintendents, attend high-level coordination meetings, and ensure all deliverables meet US construction standards.

Core Qualifications (All Trades)

• Experience: 3+ years in the US Construction Industry.
• Software: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Coordination: Proven experience leading and contributing to BIM Coordination meetings.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for client-facing interaction.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to customer offices/sites as required.
• Skills: Ability to read construction drawings, interpret specifications, and conduct QA/QC.

Trade-Specific Requirements

1. BIM Coordinator – Plumbing

• Expertise in BIM modeling/drafting of plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing Codes.
• Experience with Prefabrication workflows and spooling breakout.

2. BIM Coordinator – Electrical

• Expertise in Power/Lighting layouts, Cable Tray/Conduit sizing, and Panel Schedules.
• Strong knowledge of US Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience in Data Center projects is highly desired.

3. BIM Coordinator – HVAC Duct

• Expertise in commercial duct systems.
• Deep understanding of Mechanical Code & SMACNA standards.
• Experience with duct shop standards and spool breakouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration: Work with US customers and India-based production teams to deliver high-quality BIM models.
• Field Support: Collaborate with superintendents to understand installation means/methods and create accurate shop drawings.
• Project Management: Adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), lead kick-off meetings, and manage weekly review cycles.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous QA/QC on work products to ensure field-ready accuracy.
• Growth: Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities to expand project scope.
