Breakfast Attendant

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during breakfast hours and also our evening Wednesday Social ensuring the dining area is clean and well-stocked, and assisting with food preparation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a dynamic environment. Prior experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a focus on food safety are essential for success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including meal preparation and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations through cleaning and bussing duties.
• Food handling, stocking supplies, and ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
• Greet guests warmly, provide excellent guest services, and address any special dietary needs or requests.
• Set up buffet or serving stations, restock items as needed, and ensure an inviting presentation.
• Manage guest relations by providing attentive service, answering questions about menu items, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
• Assist with evening reception when required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cleaning skills and attention to sanitation standards.
• Experience with guest services, bussing tables, or host/host duties is
• advantageous.
