The ideal candidate, must be a self-starter that has experience marketing into Higher Education institutions and premium event venues where high quality foods are the standard.

While the Indeed platform requires a maximum pay level our "incentive compensation structure' is unlimited and contractual and once set, it's paid monthly.

Our business is rooted in the iconic bakeries in Utica - Hemstrought's and Utica Bread. We still bake from scratch daily and under the Utica Bread brand we offer the finest bread products in the marketplace capable of being served is any fine dining facility. Our sister business is Artisanal Premium Cheese - www.artisanalcheese.com - where we now offered executive chefs a turnkey product - Artisanal Table. Artisanal Table is a portion-controlled offering of artisan cheeses, hand-kneaded breads and charcuturie based on the event size to make it easy to order and present.

In Central N YS Hemstrought's Halfmoon Cookies and Butter Cookies are staples in every home and most schools (K-12 up to colleges and universities) have ample venue to market them.

Colleges and Universities are ideal venues for our products, as our premium hotels, wedding & event locations and private clubs and caterers.

We don't need to sell our products. When we present them our customers want to buy them. Quality, flavor and craftsmanship come through in initial meetings that lead to sales. We need a 'sale master' people who instinctively can sell and possesses the confidence to succeed at this level and have the contacts to open doors and fill the role of our Business Development Representative.

The more you can accomplish, the greater rewards to you. We are planning to modernize our current building, but have upgraded our bakery shop and our offices to make them more professional and a nice place to work and to invite in customers and prospects.

You can grow as far as you would like in this role and beyond. You will be on the front lines of the business engaging with customer and our operations teams to make the business work. You will report to our CEO who brings a lot of industry experience, salesmanship and energy to the business.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of senior level sales experience
  • Food industry experience and contacts to close business
  • Understanding Excel and Salesforce

Educational Requirements:

  • A college degree is preferred, but experience is foremost
