Cardiac Sonographer/ Echo Technologist

Education, Training and Experience

• Graduate of a recognized program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography with a preferred 1+ year experience in the field but not required
• Current registration with CMRITO (Required) or in process with exam dates set up
• Experience in following protocol as set out by the CorHealth requirements for Adult Echocardiography
• Experience in performing full adult echocardiograms and the use of Definity contrast enhancement will be considered but not mandatory
• IV training a plus but not a requirement

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to work independently to perform adult echocardiography in accordance with the CorHealth protocol
• Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic imaging and reporting systems
• Experience with the use of and troubleshooting of GE system is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to provide accurate preliminary reports for the reading Cardiologist
• Effective problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
