Cashier / Runner

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and fast-paced Cashier to join our team at our indoor farmers market location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, works well in a busy environment, and can stay organized during rush periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter and workspace
• Bring orders from the kitchen to the front counter for customers
• Communicate clearly with kitchen/team members to ensure order accuracy
• Restock supplies and assist with general upkeep throughout shifts
• Provide quick, efficient service during busy market hours

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required

Schedule

• Part-time
• Friday - Sunday (market hours)

Friday: 10 AM-4 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 4 PM

Sunday: 10 AM-4 PM
