Child Care Worker

We are hiring 2 Summer Child Care Educators for our school-age summer program for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 during July and August 2026.

We are looking for energetic, caring, and responsible individuals who enjoy working with children in a fun and positive environment.

Position Details

• Temporary Summer Position (July–August 2026)
• Full-time / Part-time available
• Working with children Kindergarten to Grade 6
• Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Early Childhood Educators are welcome to apply

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
• Plan and lead fun indoor and outdoor activities
• Assist children with daily routines and transitions
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Organize arts and crafts, games, reading, sports, and group activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment
• Communicate professionally with staff and families
• Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and respectful behavior
• Assist with snack and lunchtime supervision
• Participate in field trips and summer activities when required

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Hold Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (or be willing to obtain Level 1
• Qualifications
• Experience working with children is an asset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, patient, and positive attitude
