Class 4 / 5 Truck Driver – Queenstown

Full-Time | Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Class 4/5 Truck Driver to join our team based in Queenstown. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.

About the Role

• Minimum 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Typical hours: Monday – Friday
• Daily rosters set at the end of each day
• In-person, Queenstown-based role
• Uniforms, PPE, and tools provided

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A clean Full Class 4 and/or Class 5 NZ driver’s licence
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience driving under a full Class 4/5 licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A professional approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4/5 vehicles in accordance with NZ road rules
• Complete and maintain accurate:
• Driver logbooks
• Transportation records
• Fuel consumption logs
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance needs
• Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
• Take vehicles for WOF/COF inspections when required
• Monitor and report Road User Charges (RUC), registration, and servicing requirements
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and liaise with approved mechanics when necessary
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
