Clinical Assistant with Treatment Coordinator & Administrative Support Cross-Training
Andrew Pedersen Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Clinical Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice!
This position is primarily a clinical role with opportunities for cross-training in Treatment Coordination and Administrative Support. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow within the dental and orthodontic profession.
This role will serve as a support and back-up to our Treatment Coordinator, including assisting with and meeting new patients during consultations as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the orthodontist during clinical procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and treatment areas
- Taking orthodontic records, photos, and X-rays as needed
- Supporting patient flow and maintaining an efficient clinical schedule
- Assisting with new patient exams and consultations
- Serving as support for the Treatment Coordinator as needed
- Cross-training in front desk and administrative responsibilities including scheduling, answering phones, and patient intake
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dental or orthodontic assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification preferred (if applicable)
Office Locations:
This position requires travel between our two office locations:
- York, PA
- New Freedom
Reliable transportation is required.
Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation:
Listed salary reflects the starting pay range. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
