Requirements and responsibilities:
- Program, setup, and prove out CNC Lathes (Miyano)
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience operating CNC Lathes & Mills (REQUIRED)
- Minimum of five (5) years experience programming and setting up CNC Lathes & Mills (REQUIRED)
- Minimum of three (3) years experience programming and setting up Miyano CNC Lathes (REQUIRED)
- CAM experience is beneficial
- Excellent working knowledge of CNC programming (G & M codes, canned cycles, etc).
- Able to select, change, set, and touch off tools
- Strong ability to use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc)
- Must be quality conscious
- Follow specific work, process, safety instructions and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and team mentality
- Exhibit strong work ethic and attendance record
- Maintain organized/clean work area
- Physically able to perform duties of the job; able to lift 50#
