Cnc Sheet Metal Fabricator Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, with the ability to fabricate, assemble, and build metal structures according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in welding and a solid understanding of construction site operations. The Metal Fabricator will ensure all work meets industry codes and standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Fabricate metal components using various tools and equipment, including welding machines, saws, and machining tools.
• Assemble metal structures by following precise measurements and adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy materials safely on the construction site.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with machining processes and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to metal fabrication is preferred.
