What You'll Do

As a Youth and Family Specialist, you’ll work directly with children and families by:

  • Providing youth mentorship and in-home family support
  • Offering face-to-face contact, role modeling, and coaching
  • Supporting families in crisis using proven intervention strategies
  • Collaborating with probation officers and other professionals to meet family needs
  • Advocating for children and ensuring their well-being
  • Maintaining clear and accurate documentation
  • Utilize time wisely

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of job-related or lived experience
  • A commitment to our mission of strengthening families and empowering positive change
  • Ability to work in and travel around the counties in your office region
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

A Few More Details

All employment offers are contingent on passing a comprehensive background check. These include APS/CPS, Nebraska DMV, National and State Criminal History, and the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry. Checks are updated every two years for all employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
