Guruji Private Ltd is looking for two cooks for their business in Wellington region , Lower Hutt.

Only New Zealand citizens, residents, or on an open work visa holders can apply if they have one year's work experience in Indian cuisine: Tandoor and Curry cooking at NOL skill level 3.

Wages $27-$30 per hours and overtime at the same pay rate per hour.

Wages will be paid into their nominated bank account fortnightly.

Working hours 11 am- 2 pm and 4pm-10pm and working hours 30-35 per week.

Duties of cook:
Prepares, seasons and cooks food.

examining foodstuffs to ensure quality;

regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;

preparing and cooking food; seasoning food during cooking;

portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes;

storing food in temperature controlled facilities;

preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;

may plan menus and estimate food requirements;

may train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
