Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
• Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting team members when necessary.

Skills

• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus.
