Electrical Supervisor – Retrofit & Heat Pump Division

€35–€42 per hour (DOE) | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Excellent Benefits
Location: Dublin (Cherry Orchard Base)

Churchfield Home Services is expanding its Mechanical Division and is seeking a high-performance Electrical Supervisor to lead retrofit and heat pump installations across Dublin and surrounding areas.

This is not a standard electrician role. This is a leadership position.

You will lead a structured 3-person team (Supervisor + 2 Apprentices), owning installation quality, safety compliance, documentation standards, and delivery performance across solar PV, heat pump, and ventilation projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate electrical installation works across retrofit and heat pump projects
  • Supervise a structured 2:1 apprentice model (Supervisor + 2 Apprentices)
  • Own overall team quality performance — deliver ≥95% Quality KPI
  • Install, connect, and commission electrical systems for heat pumps, solar PV, and ventilation
  • Oversee electrical upgrades including consumer unit changes, new circuits, and protection devices
  • Ensure all testing and verification is completed in line with ET101
  • Review and verify recorded test results and completion data within CHS systems
  • Oversee SEAI-compliant documentation and scheme standards
  • Ensure strict adherence to CHS electrical SOPs, RAMS, inspection checklists, and project designs
  • Maintain safe isolation procedures and structured site organisation
  • Manage fleet vehicle, tools, materials coordination, and site sequencing
  • Coordinate works with Plumbing and Solar teams
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding works and project progress
  • Mentor apprentices toward Distinction standard and structured development

What You’ll Need

  • QQI/FETAC Level 6 Electrical Qualification
  • Electrical Testing & Verification certification
  • Proven experience leading a team (supervisory experience essential)
  • Strong knowledge of ET101 and safe isolation procedures
  • Retrofit / heat pump / solar exposure preferred
  • Strong documentation capability and testing discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership maturity and decision-making capability on live sites
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
  • Full, clean B driving licence
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
