Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist will configure, schedule and monitor email marketing campaigns, as well as provide technical support to the email team, including assisting with suppression files, blacklisting, data segmentation and IP testing. Candidates must be highly responsible and comfortable learning new platforms and communicating effectively with the rest of the team and will take pride in creating winning campaigns utilizing creative, marketing and analytical skills.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for performing day-to-day email marketing activities including but not limited to end-to-end execution of email communications, building and coding email campaigns, lists & segments selection, scheduling, testing and deploying campaigns in multiple countries.
• Assist with analyzing past and current email campaign performance and propose ways to increase engagement and reduce spam complaints.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required.
• Perform A/B Tests to find winning combinations of HTML creatives, from lines, subject lines and deployment times.
• Execute Inbox Placement tests using tools like Mail Monitor, 250ok, Litmus or Glock Apps.
• Reporting on testing metrics i.e. % of emails that made it to the inbox per IP/domain
• Knowledgeable to best practices with Email marketing. Can-Spam compliance. Unsubscribe and opt-out management. Also able to identify and remove complaints.
• Interact with email team on day-to-day tasks, troubleshooting and status updates.

Competencies, Required Education and Experience

• University degree or college diploma preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Previous Email Marketing experienced preferred
• Knowledge in HTML is a must
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or other similar software.
• Proficient in MS-Office, including MS-Excel and the ability ot use Excel to identify and solve problems
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Thrive under pressure and adapt to new situations as projects arise
• Willing to work on night shift 8:30PM - 5:30 AM
• Must have a reliable internet connection and PC / laptop
