Events Function Head / Asst. Manager

1) Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics, to ensure all details are organized and executed effectively

2) Identify and secure suitable event venues based on client requirements, negotiate contracts, and coordinate site visits as needed

3) Source and manage vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainers, and audiovisual technicians, overseeing contracts, payments, and performance

4) Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets

5) Coordinate event logistics, including setup, teardown, transportation, and staffing, to ensure smooth operations on event days

6) Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations throughout the event planning process

7) Oversee event setup and execution on-site, ensuring all elements are implemented according to plan and troubleshoot any issues as they arise

8) Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring the safety and security of attendees and minimizing disruptions

9) Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event, gather feedback from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement in future events
